The Silver Lake Reservoir is one of the most peaceful spots in urban Los Angeles.  Sited in Silver Lake between East and West Silver Lake Blvd., the Reservoir offers something for everyone.  With a walking/running path that now wraps the entire length of the lake (a little under 2 miles), one can always find residents enjoying the outdoor scene.  The dog park is one of the most active areas, with both small and large dogs enjoying the chance to run off leash and play with each other.  There are basketball courts, a children’s playground, a neighborhood recreation center, and grass for picnicking.  With magnificent views of eclectic Silver Lake architecture, mountains, and the Griffith Park Observatory, there is no better spot in the city to enjoy a diverse crowd and a pleasant outdoor environment.
